This is a simple application that allows you to print checks from your Mac, iPhone or iPad.

Can I try it before buying it?

Kind of. You can purchase it, and if you decide that you don’t like it, you can request a refund from Apple. See Apple’s support article for more information.

We did not want to implement a free version mostly because of fake reviews, or people might download it without reading the description. Seeing bad reviews for the application is like hearing somebody call your baby ugly. It is very hard to ignore it.

What kind of checks can I print with this application?

At this moment CheckCraft supports only one layout of checks. By CheckOMatic.

You can purchase it from Amazon.

You cannot configure the layout of the check. If you wish the app to support other layouts, please send us an email to support@loshadki.app. If we get enough requests, we will add support for other layouts.

My bank printed the bank number, account number and check number in a different order?

Each number there has a special MICR code, which is used to identify the bank, account and check numbers. Those help check readers to read the numbers correctly. The order of how to display them does not matter. At least I used one order that was used by my bank (Chase), and it works.

How can I enter second line on name or address of the check?

On macOS some controls allows you to go to the second line by pressing Option+Return. Default control for entering multiline text used by CheckCraft uses that control. If you need to print something on the second line, just press Option+Return to go to the second line.

Why this app available only in USA?

I know nothing about banks and checks in other contries. If you believe I can just use the same layout as in USA, and make the app available in other contries, please contact me at support@loshadki.app. Or if the layout is slightly different, please let me know.

Alternatives?

You don’t need fancy apps to print checks if you don’t want them. You can just use Excel.app with templates to print them. Please take a look at github.com/andrewstellman/excel-check-printing.

I have used it for a while, and even built a Numbers.app version of it.

Please be aware of other free alternatives on App Store, some of them collect too much information, including bank names, memos, etc. We don’t do that.
